My most ambitious plushie project to date, this is the tallest pony Ive ever made and proberbly one of my best (In that she took every bit of plushie making Id learnt while making Fluttershy and Trixie and quite a bit of brain rattling for the rest to put together).
Shes perfectly to scale with the other two types of pony I produce. So Baby ponys stand next to her and they are the right size to match the tv show. *glee face* But I did sin on making this Plushie Luna. She has wire in her wings, I just could not find a way to make the wings stay upright and look pretty at the same time without using wire. I padded it out with tape and a whole heap of stuffing though. So they are perfectly safe. It was just a shame to have to use it.
Proberbly the most challenging bit for me was actually making the pattern in the first place. I think I went through a dozen different body shapes before this one came right. Not to mention the hoof details.
She took me the best part of a week to produce. Every single part of her is hand sewn, from the stuffed chest details to the crown on her head. Defiantly a massive time investment to make a plushie so big and so complex, might try Celestia next *shudder*
